A 50-year-old man is currently hospitalized in critical condition in the intensive care unit of Pescara hospital. According to reports, the man intervened to defend his son during a fight among teens on the seafront of Fossacesia, in the Chieti area.
While attempting to separate the two young men and escort his son away, the man was struck in the face. Investigations into the case are ongoing and may provide further details about what occurred and the identities of those involved.
The man underwent neurosurgery due to the severity of his injuries, and his condition remains critical.
