Franco-Argentinian tourist with hantavirus isolated in Galicia

A Franco-Argentinian tourist who tested positive for hantavirus is currently isolated in Galicia along with two close contacts. According to Carmen Durán, the General Director of Public Health at the Health Department, the patient has not shown symptoms since the week prior to his arrival in Galicia.

The three individuals in isolation are asymptomatic. They will remain in quarantine until negative PCR tests confirm their epidemiological discharge.
