Fuel prices in Portugal are set to change next week, between August 31 and September 6. Diesel is expected to drop by 7.5 cents per liter, while gasoline is projected to increase by 1.5 cents per liter.

Estimates from the Automobile Club of Portugal (ACP) suggest that if this trend is confirmed, the average price of diesel will be 1.996 euros per liter starting next Monday.

On the other hand, according to information from the National Association of Fuel Resellers (Anarec), the decrease in diesel prices will be more modest, around 6 cents.

While ACP data indicate a rise of 1.5 cents in gasoline prices, Anarec downplays this increase, estimating only a one-cent rise during the same period.

The changes in fuel prices reflect market fluctuations, and drivers should be mindful of the new rates that will take effect next week.
