Gernot Trauner announces retirement from football
34-year-old former national team player Gernot Trauner has announced his retirement.
Former Austria national team player Gernot Trauner officially announced the end of his football career on Sunday. Trauner, who most recently played for Feyenoord Rotterdam and previously spent five years with LASK, made a total of 16 appearances for the Austrian national team.
In his club career, Trauner made 92 appearances for Feyenoord. The 34-year-old has decided to conclude his active football career, which he revealed in a public statement.
