Government increases ISP discount on gasoline and diesel

The Government will enhance the discount on the Tax on Petroleum Products and Energy (ISP) for gasoline and diesel, considering the anticipated increase in fuel prices. The discount for diesel will rise to 2.13 cents per liter, while for gasoline it will be 1.42 cents per liter.

The measure was formalized in an order published on Friday in the Diário da República, although additional details regarding the application of the discount were not provided.
