The Minister of Economy and Territorial Cohesion, Castro Almeida, is holding a progress report on the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR) today in Lisbon at Campus XXI, the Government's headquarters. The press conference is scheduled for 10:30, marking the final stretch for plan execution.

According to the latest report released, the execution of the PRR stands at 75%. This figure was mentioned by the president of the National Monitoring Committee, who also noted that the works will continue even after the month of August.

On the other hand, RTP reported that the Minister of Economy confirmed that the PRR is fully executed, thus meeting the deadline set with Brussels. This statement contradicts the previous announcement which indicated only a 75% execution rate.

The differing reports on the status of PRR execution raise questions about the final phase of the project, with the Government now emphasizing the total execution of the plan.

Ensuring the continuity of works after August is one of the priorities expressed by the authorities, as mentioned by various sources during the discussion on the PRR.

This presentation comes at a critical time, with pressure to fulfill the commitments made under the PRR, which aims to promote the economic recovery and resilience of the country. Monitoring these projects will be essential to guarantee the effectiveness of future actions.
