The Spanish government has decided to convert five sports facilities and various state infrastructures in Ceuta to accommodate migrants, as officially reported.
The Official State Gazette (BOE) has published a royal decree declaring the situation in Ceuta as being of national security interest and detailing the resources that will be used for this purpose.
The new centralized command, which will govern the autonomous city, will last until December 31, 2026, and President Pedro Sánchez will have the option to extend it or cancel it early.
