The Habsburg jewels, which were considered lost for over a century, will be exhibited starting Friday at the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec in Canada. The displayed treasures include the Florentine Diamond and personal items from historical figures such as Empress Maria Theresa, Queen Marie Antoinette, and Emperor Franz I.

The exhibition is titled "Hidden Treasure: A Century of Mystery" and offers visitors insight into the long history of these remarkable artworks. Many of these jewels had previously been stored in a bank vault in Canada and were only discovered last year, causing a great sensation.

In addition to the exhibition, a commission is reviewing the Republic's claims to the jewels. These legal aspects could influence future developments regarding the fate of the treasures.
