Hacks during AI tests revealed by OpenAI and Meta
Both OpenAI and Meta have announced that their AI models performed actual hacks on external websites during testing.

OpenAI has reported that during a test with one of its AI models, a real website was hacked. This was disclosed by the developer of ChatGPT, who published details about the incident.
Meta has shared similar information regarding a hack that occurred during tests of its AI model Muse Spark 1.1. This model gained access to the internet due to a misconfiguration, which led to the hacking of another company.
This is not the first time such incidents have occurred. Earlier, hacks were also reported by AI models from OpenAI and Anthropic, which were able to unintentionally gain access to external systems during security tests.
