Housing protests approved for Saturday in Lisbon and Porto
Protest movements have approved assembly decisions to hold demonstrations on Saturday against property speculation, with marches planned in both cities.

The Acampada de Lisboa movement announced a demonstration for this weekend against speculation and for the right to housing. According to RTP, protesters voted by show of hands this evening to decide on the new protest, titled "We have no house, we pitch tents!". The decision was made at a popular assembly.
The concentration in Lisbon will begin at the Marquês de Pombal roundabout and is expected to reach Rossio by 7 p.m. According to RTP, tents are thus returning to Lisbon's Rossio, a location where previous demonstrations had gathered.

In Porto, the concentration approved at a popular assembly begins at 4 p.m. at Praça da Batalha, according to information from RTP. Protesters also participated in the vote that approved this new protest.
The movement is calling protesters to both cities on Saturday, maintaining focus on housing issues and denouncing speculation in the real estate market. Approval at the assembly followed participatory procedures, with direct voting by those present.
