The Yemeni Houthi militia has launched a ballistic missile attack on Saudi Arabia. According to military sources, the missile attack was successfully intercepted, but there were reports of fatalities and injuries.

In a separate incident, three people have died in Saudi Arabia due to attacks on the airports in Riyadh and Abha. The local aviation authority confirmed that these airports were the targets of two attacks that took place on Tuesday and Wednesday.

According to reports from Kleinere Zeitung and Münchner Merkur, the attacks occurred north of Riyadh, as the country faces confrontations with the Houthi militia on various fronts. The Saudi-backed coalition's offensive "Dawn" has led to heavy fighting in Yemen.

The Houthi militia has previously claimed responsibility for attacks on airports in Saudi Arabia. While the attack on Riyadh was repelled, the exact circumstances of the attacks on the airports remain unclear.

Several people were injured in the attacks on the airports, with the number of injured reported to be over 30. The attacks appear to be part of an increased intensity of military confrontations between Saudi Arabia and the Houthis in Yemen.

The situation remains tense, as the Houthi militia has announced plans to continue targeting sites in Saudi Arabia. This occurs against the backdrop of the ongoing military offensive in Yemen, which aims at coalition targets.
