Hundreds evacuated in Germany due to wildfire
Around 1,800 people in North Rhine-Westphalia are forced to leave their homes because of a wildfire affecting approximately 25 hectares of forest.

Approximately 25 hectares of forest have caught fire in North Rhine-Westphalia, an area equivalent to about 35 football fields, according to reports.
Due to the fire danger, around 1,800 people are being evacuated from their homes. Firefighters are on-site to bring the situation under control.
