According to reporting from The Okinawa Times, nearly 20,000 passengers have been affected by the flight cancellations. The storm's impact is so severe that public transport in the region has also been suspended.

Authorities continue to monitor the situation and are working on recovery measures for the affected areas, but the impact of the hurricane is clearly noticeable.
