The Powerball jackpot has reached an estimated $975 million for the upcoming drawing on Wednesday night. This follows the announcement that there were no winning tickets sold for the $905 million grand prize from Monday's drawing, according to Powerball officials.

Math experts suggest that players wary of sharing the jackpot should avoid certain numbers, as the odds of matching all five regular numbers along with the Powerball are approximately 1 in 292.2 million.
