In July, housing bank valuations rose to €2,240 per square meter, marking a significant increase compared to June and the previous year.

According to the National Institute of Statistics (INE), in July, the median value of housing bank valuations reached a new historical high of €2,240 per square meter.
This increase represents a rise of €12 compared to the previous month, June, and is also 15.2% higher than what was recorded in the same month last year, in 2025.
This new value of €2,240/m2 reflects the ongoing valuation trend in the housing sector in Portugal, which has been observed over recent months.

Variations in housing bank valuations are indicative of fluctuations in the real estate market, which has faced various economic dynamics.
The information was released by the INE, the entity responsible for compiling and analyzing statistical data in the country.
