Inter denies rumors about Lautaro Martínez and a potential transfer to Barcelona
The president of Inter has dismissed speculation about Lautaro Martínez as Barcelona searches for a striker.

FC Barcelona has expressed interest in signing striker Lautaro Martínez, particularly given their need for a number 9 on their roster. However, Inter Milan has firmly positioned itself against these rumors, stating that it has no intention of negotiating the Argentine player's exit.
Giuseppe Marotta, president of Inter, was categorical in ruling out any possibility of Lautaro Martínez joining the Catalan club. This statement coincides with Barcelona's challenging situation in acquiring their targets, with Julián Álvarez being the main focus, although negotiations with Atlético de Madrid have stalled.
Despite Barcelona's interest, the Italian club maintains its stance on Lautaro, who was captain of Inter in the opening match of Serie A against Monza, which ended with a 4-1 victory. In that match, Lautaro played a total of 54 minutes before being substituted to manage his physical condition.

The tension in the transfer market intensifies Barcelona's search for a striker to complete their squad, as efforts to bring in Julián Álvarez have so far been unsuccessful. Atlético de Madrid has shown resistance to negotiate, despite the player's interest in changing teams.
Inter's refusal reinforces Lautaro's position, who is currently considered a key element of the team. The situation complicates as Barcelona continues looking for alternatives to satisfy their offensive needs.
For his part, Lautaro Martínez has remained focused on his role within Inter, where he has been recognized for his performance and leadership, evidenced by his captaincy in the last match.
