IPS Officer's Mother Found Murdered in Uttar Pradesh; Jewellery Missing
Indravati, mother of an IPS officer, was discovered dead in her Ambedkar Nagar home with valuables stolen.
Authorities reported that Indravati, the mother of an IPS officer, was found murdered in her home located in Rudha Dhamrua village, Ambedkar Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. Police noted that she lived alone and that her household appeared otherwise undisturbed.
Investigating officers stated that several pieces of jewellery, including a gold chain, nose pin, earrings, and anklets, were missing from the residence. The family has suggested that thieves may have broken in.
Akhilesh Yadav, chief of the Samajwadi Party, has criticized the Uttar Pradesh government, expressing concerns for police safety in light of the incident.
