Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkian has called on the United States to return to the negotiating table in order to ensure a peaceful resolution to the conflict in the Middle East. According to him, pressure and threats from Washington could undermine ongoing diplomatic efforts.

He stated that Tehran would immediately resume its commitments if the United States returned to the agreement signed in June. This declaration underscores Iran's willingness to engage constructively in the peace process.

At the same time, Pezeshkian expressed gratitude to Russia, mentioning Vladimir Putin's support during the war and thanking Russia for its consistent position throughout the various stages of the conflict. He emphasized that Russian support had been crucial both during the fighting and in the face of American sanctions.

These statements come amid a tense regional backdrop, where relations between the United States and Iran continue to be fraught. The Iranian president stresses the need to restore formal dialogue to prevent an escalation of tensions.
