Jharkhand Government Cancels JSSC-CGL Exam Amid Protests
The Jharkhand government has canceled the JSSC-CGL exam, responding to student protests, but protesters continue to demand a CBI inquiry.

The Jharkhand government announced the cancellation of the JSSC-CGL exam and all examinations conducted by a firm alleged to have been involved in irregularities. Chief Minister Hemant Soren stated that all mistakes since 2014 will be investigated, according to reports.
Despite this concession, protesters expressed that their demonstrations will persist until their key demand for a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) inquiry is accepted. Spokesperson Ravindra Paswan emphasized that the protest will not end without this commitment.
Additionally, the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID) conducted searches at the JSSC office and made an arrest as part of their ongoing investigation into the alleged exam irregularities. According to reports, this action reflects the state's response to the concerns raised by the students.
