Josh Fraser Appointed Permanent Coach of Carlton Football Club

Carlton Football Club has officially appointed Josh Fraser as their permanent senior coach. This decision was finalized by the club's board on Monday after Fraser's impressive performance as caretaker coach, during which he led the team to a revival in form in the Australian Football League (AFL).

Fraser's selection marks the third occasion in the last two decades that Carlton has appointed an interim coach to the permanent position. Unlike previous instances, there is considerable evidence of Fraser's effectiveness, having achieved multiple wins during his tenure.

Graham Wright, the chief executive of Carlton, emphasized the quality of Fraser's presentation during the selection process, stating that it would have been sufficient on its own to secure his appointment as head coach. Fraser’s appointment reflects the club's confidence in his ability to lead.
