President Keiko Fujimori announced the viability of the Lima-Chosica train, stating that the project is in the ProInversión phase. However, she did not specify a starting date for its execution.

This project was promoted during the administration of former Lima mayor Rafael López Aliaga. Fujimori emphasized that, regardless of the timeline, the train "is going to happen."

Additionally, Fujimori communicated a restructuring at Sedapal after visiting Villa El Salvador to inspect homes affected by heavy rains in southern Lima. She announced that the government will declare a state of emergency in several districts and regions in the south and highlands of the country.
