The Italian Foreign Ministry has released a new list of countries to avoid for travelers.
La Farnesina has updated its risk map for Italian travelers, highlighting 28 countries advised against for 2026. This list is crucial for citizens planning to travel abroad, providing guidance on potential threats in various territories.
In addition to the advised countries, there are 92 areas considered critical that should be avoided. Conversely, 76 countries have been classified as safe for travelers, while one country has not been mentioned.
The Viaggiare Sicuri platform, managed by the Foreign Ministry, provides details not only about security issues but also about matters related to crime, terrorism, diseases, and natural disasters that may affect travelers.
