Leadership Crisis in Nigeria Football Federation Amid Corruption Allegations
The president and executive leadership of the Nigeria Football Federation have resigned amid allegations of corruption and governance issues.

The president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) resigned on Thursday, September 27, following accusations of corruption and unsatisfactory performances by the national teams, particularly the women's team, according to Folha de S.Paulo.
In addition to the president, the general secretary and the entire executive committee of the NFF also stepped down, as reported by multiple sources including BBC Sport. This mass resignation has resulted in a leadership vacuum within the federation.

The officials' departure has been prompted by increasing governance concerns and calls for accountability in the organization amid a backdrop of poor results from Nigerian football teams.
This event marks a significant turning point for the NFF, as it seeks to address ongoing issues of management and performance in the sport, with no immediate replacement leaders announced.
