Lorena Wiebes wins third stage in the Tour of Britain
Dutch rider Lorena Wiebes secured her third stage victory in the Tour of Britain, while Kim Le Court maintains her lead.

Lorena Wiebes has achieved her third stage victory in the Tour of Britain. The SD Worx-Protime rider was the fastest in the fourth stage, which spanned 138 kilometers towards Hay-on-Wye. Wiebes once again showcased her sprinting skills and won the mass sprint.
The finale saw an exciting race, with a select group of riders battling for victory. Wiebes managed to outpace Germany's Liane Lippert (Movistar) and Mauritian Kim Le Court (AG Insurance-Soudal). Le Court finished third, thereby maintaining her lead in the overall classification.
Earlier, Wiebes had also won the first two stages of the Tour of Britain, consistently being the fastest in the mass sprints. Over the four days of the race, she has demonstrated her strong sprint capabilities.

This stage was characterized by several hills that made the race more selective, as well as a crash in the front group. This led to a smaller pack in the finale, where Wiebes seized her opportunity.
The Tour of Britain is part of the UCI Women's WorldTour and is an important event for female cyclists. With her recent performances, Wiebes is meeting the expectations set ahead of the race.
In addition to Wiebes' victory, attention is also drawn to Olav Kooij, who again failed to win in the Renewi Tour despite being in good form. This development adds another dimension to the weekend of cycling, alongside Wiebes' triumphs.
