Business owners in Lousã have expressed concerns regarding the frequency of inspections conducted by the Authority for Food and Economic Security (ASAE) in the region. This reaction came after the execution of the Terras de Xisto Operation, which aimed to supervise local establishments.
According to reported information, the operation resulted in the suspension of four establishments and the initiation of 45 proceedings against 125 operators that were inspected. These actions have created unease among business owners due to the potential impact on their activities and commercial operations.
The Lousã Business Association (AESL) issued a statement in response to the inspections, reiterating its concerns about the regularity and manner in which the inspections are being conducted in the region.
