A 50-year-old man is in serious condition in the hospital after being struck by a punch on the waterfront of Fossacesia, in the province of Chieti. The incident occurred at 4 AM, following a night out.
According to reports, the man intervened to defend his son during a fight between young people. In an attempt to separate the young involved, he was hit in the face by a violent blow. Investigations into the incident are currently underway.
