Marketplace Sellers’ Association Calls for Lower Fees After Warehouse Attacks

The Marketplace Sellers’ Association recommends reducing commissions for sellers impacted by warehouse attacks for a period of at least six months following the resumption of sales activities. This measure aims to provide relief to affected entrepreneurs as they recover from the consequences of the attacks.

Additionally, it is suggested that platform discounts be completely eliminated. This would help sellers minimize their financial losses and improve competitive conditions.

A seller who analyzed data on their warehouse concentration notes that the number of warehouses does not necessarily correlate with risk. In one example, a seller has 15 warehouses, with 88.7% of their funds concentrated in just one. These insights raise questions about the security situation and risk management in the industry.
