Maximum fire risk affects the North and Central interior of Portugal

The North and Central interior of Portugal faces a maximum fire risk, affecting around 60 municipalities, as reported by Notícias ao Minuto. This situation was confirmed by the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA), which also indicated that light rain and a drop in temperatures are expected for the region.

According to information from RTP, the maximum fire risk covers dozens of municipalities in these areas, reflecting the severity of the climatic conditions. The IPMA anticipates the greatest drop in maximum temperatures, especially in northern and central regions of the country.

The current condition raises concerns about safety and possible necessary interventions, given the critical state in which the affected regions find themselves.
