The military parade for National Day will be held on October 12 in Madrid, starting at 11:00 AM with the arrival of the Kings at the royal stand. The program schedules the lowering of the flag at 1:30 PM, with the event concluding at 3:00 PM, according to sources from 20minutos. This year's celebration coincides with the electoral campaign and the visit of the Kings to Ceuta and Melilla, as reported by Infobae.

Among the activities in the parade, around 4,400 military personnel, 50 aircraft, and 32 helicopters will participate. Notably, parachutists will also take part, including First Sergeant Pablo García Matanza, who will be the lead jumper, and First Corporal José Antonio Lago Rubio, who will carry the Spanish flag, as noted by 20minutos.

Media outlets also recorded moments of tension at Puerta del Sol, where parade attendees provoked the campers in the area, triggering reactions and an atmosphere of confrontation, according to reports from Infobae.

On another note, the President of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, expressed her hope that this will be the last parade with the current Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, in La Moncloa. She also highlighted the visit of the Kings to Ceuta as a "great gesture," according to 20minutos.

An additional highlight during the parade was when two military personnel took the opportunity to propose to their partners, stating that this National Day will be unforgettable for them, according to Infobae.

Finally, the traditional military parade will be presided over by King Felipe VI, who is the captain general of the Army, Navy, and Air Force, thus reaffirming the significance of the ceremony in the context of the national commemoration.
