Ayuso sidesteps controversy with Feijóo over the apartment for sale
The President of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, avoids commenting on the controversy regarding the apartment during her visit to the San Juan reservoir, stating that it is for sale.

During a visit to the San Juan reservoir, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, President of the Community of Madrid, avoided responding to statements from the leader of the Popular Party, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, regarding the controversy surrounding an apartment acquired by the community. When questioned, Ayuso simply said: 'It’s for sale, goodbye.'
Feijóo had claimed to be aware of the purchase of the apartment since April, noting that the Madrid government had been seeking explanations on the matter. However, Ayuso chose not to engage in the discussion and reiterated that she had already said everything necessary on the topic.
The apartment, with an area of 481 square meters, was initially purchased for 6.3 million euros. Currently, the public company Planifica Madrid has listed the property for sale with an asking price of 6.69 million euros, as reported by El Mundo.

Ayuso's statements indicate her decision to avoid any type of confrontation with Feijóo, who had urged her to provide details about the acquisition of the apartment, amid increasing scrutiny regarding the use of public resources in the Community of Madrid.
By steering clear of commenting on the controversy, Ayuso seems to be trying to shift attention towards other issues, such as the situation of the forest fires in the Sierra Oeste, which were also mentioned during her visit to the reservoir.
Despite Feijóo's insistence, Ayuso has remained firm in her stance, asserting that the issue has already been widely discussed and that she has no intention of providing further information on the matter.
