Banco Montepio announced a net profit of €92.5 million by September, representing a 7.1% increase compared to the same period last year, according to released data. The growth was attributed to the evolution of commercial activity and the bank's financial stability.

Montepio's banking products also grew, reaching €358.8 million, an increase of 6.8%.

In terms of provisions expenses, the bank reported a decrease, contributing to the positive results. This reduction reflects a more effective management of credit risk and an improvement in asset quality.
