Panamanian President José Raúl Mulino declared that drug trafficking is the worst enemy of the Panama Canal. These statements were made during the meeting of the Coalition Against the Cartels of the Americas (A3C).

The event took place in the Panamanian capital and brought together heads of security forces from 19 countries, where the challenges posed by drug trafficking to global trade were discussed, particularly regarding the movement through the canal.
