Multiple Fatalities Following Building Collapse in Delhi's Chawri Bazaar

On Thursday morning, around 9:50 am, a three-storey under-construction building collapsed near the Chawri Bazaar Metro station in Delhi. The incident prompted an immediate response from emergency services, with multiple fire units and rescue vehicles sent to the site. Senior officers have been overseeing ongoing rescue efforts as multiple individuals are feared to be trapped under the debris.

As of now, reports indicate that at least two individuals have been confirmed dead. According to the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central District), Rohit Rajbir Singh, the collapse occurred while a concrete slab was being laid.
