Nate Bargatze sets world record for stand-up comedy ticket sales

American comedian Nate Bargatze has set a world record for the most tickets sold for a stand-up comedy tour. During his 'Big Dumb Eyes' tour, over two million tickets were sold, as reported by the entertainment outlet Variety.

In a span of sixteen months, more than two million people purchased tickets for the tour, surpassing the previous record held by comedian Jeff Dunham. Dunham had sold 1.98 million tickets over a period of 35 months with 386 performances in 2007.
