Netanyahu: 'No plan for Gaza without disarming Hamas'

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has declared that a Palestinian state will not be established in either Gaza or the West Bank. According to Netanyahu, the withdrawal of Israeli forces from the Gaza Strip will only be possible following the complete disarmament of Hamas.

Netanyahu has rejected the peace plan proposed by the United States, stating that before any discussions on a possible withdrawal can take place, security and the disarmament of the militant group must be ensured.

In response to Netanyahu's statements, Hamas expressed its expectation that the United States will pressure Israel to adhere to the established roadmap and not obstruct the peace process for electoral reasons.

Meanwhile, the White House has downplayed Netanyahu's remarks, stating that it is not concerned about his position and emphasizing the importance of continuing negotiations on the peace process. Additionally, in Iran, traffic on the Kharg oil pipeline is reportedly at a standstill due to the U.S. naval blockade.
