Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is preparing for parliamentary elections on October 27 amid growing electoral uncertainty. Polls suggest that both Netanyahu and the opposition are far from securing a clear majority, complicating post-election coalition-building, according to reports from El País.

In this context, Donald Trump expressed his support for Netanyahu's leadership, describing him as a "great warrior, strong, brave, and brilliant." Trump has indicated that choosing another leader in Israel would be a mistake, emphasizing his backing in a recent letter.

Trump highlighted Netanyahu as a strategic ally in the fight against Iran and in the pursuit of peace, calling him a great warrior prime minister. This endorsement comes amid regional tensions and internal conflicts in Israel.

Netanyahu thanked Trump for his support and stressed the importance of cooperation between the two countries. The Prime Minister noted that together they can continue their mission in the region despite the challenges they face.

Additionally, Gadi Eisenkot, a potential rival to Netanyahu in the elections, commented on Trump's support, emphasizing that the final decision regarding leadership lies with the Israeli citizens.

The elections are taking place against a backdrop of recent wars in Gaza and Iran, which may influence voter decisions, although polls indicate a tightly contested race.
