In Costa Rica, researchers have discovered a new frog species known as the "Coffee Frog." This species is nocturnal, measures up to four centimeters in size, and features green-brown spots. The frog was observed in San Lorenzo de Tarrazú, a mountain village in the province of San José.
According to researcher Wagner Chaves-Acuña, the habitat of the Coffee Frog in the coffee plantations could be endangered. The new species is regarded as a remarkable discovery within the scientific community, as it inhabits a specific and possibly threatened ecosystem.
