A Dutch sperm donor, known as Simon and aged 43, has recently garnered attention for his involvement in the conception of over a hundred children. Research from dozens of mothers indicates that the number of children he has fathered is currently estimated at at least 121.

Several mothers are expressing deep concerns about the situation and have voiced their worries regarding the number of children stemming from one donor. They and the Donor Child Foundation are calling for action, stating, 'We need to stop this man.'

The problem is that the actual number of conceived children is likely even higher than the current estimate of 121. This worries the mothers, as the implications of such a high concentration of relatives are hard to foresee.

The television program Nieuwsuur has reported on the issue, detailing how many children may have been born due to this donor. The involvement of this sperm donor raises questions about the ethics of sperm donation and the regulations that surround it.

The situation regarding this mass donor stands in stark contrast to previous calls for the regulation of sperm donation in the Netherlands, where concerns about anonymity and the number of children per donor are increasingly coming to the forefront.
