Dutch mass donor Simon has declared in a letter to parents, obtained by Nieuwsuur, that he has conceived at least 199 children. This number exceeds the prior report of 121 children.

According to the information Simon provided in his letter, 172 of these children were born in the Netherlands from his sperm donations. Additionally, 11 children were born in Belgium, 15 in Germany, and one in another European country.

In the letter, Simon also mentions that there is currently one woman pregnant from his donations. He stated that he has stopped donating sperm.

The coverage of Simon has sparked significant attention and questions, particularly regarding the reliability of his previous statements about the number of conceived children. The Federal Agency for Medicines and Health Products (FAGG) is investigating the situation concerning his activities in Belgium.

There are several testimonies from mothers making claims about Simon. They allege that he has lied for years about the actual number of children he has conceived and that he even offered sex as a 'natural method' of sperm donation.

The revelations about Simon have consequences for how sperm donors should be handled and regulated, but further details on this are currently unavailable.
