The Federal Agency for Medicines and Health Products (FAGG) has launched an investigation into the activities of a Dutch mass donor from Groningen. The inquiry specifically focuses on whether this man, who is believed to have fathered more than 121 children in the Netherlands, has also fathered children in Belgium.

According to reports from the Dutch broadcaster NOS, the donor claimed in a letter to parents that he has fathered at least 199 children. This letter also states that eleven of these children were born in Belgium.

In total, there are discussions about six children in Belgium who may be related to this mass donor. The FAGG has indicated that it is taking the investigation seriously, given the implications of such revelations.

Concerns have been raised about the potential repercussions of the donor's activities. The man reportedly remains active in providing his sperm, raising questions about the regulation of such practices.

News reports highlight the need for further investigation and the involvement of Belgian authorities in this case. The FAGG will gather information to determine whether the donor's claims are accurate and what consequences this might entail.

The revelation of the mass donor and the number of children he has fathered has sparked a wide range of reactions, both in the Netherlands and Belgium. The public and experts are closely monitoring developments to gain insight into this situation.
