New Treasury Bill Auction Raises €2.072 Billion
The Public Treasury conducts an auction of Bills, raising €2.072 billion in three and nine-month terms.

On Tuesday, Spain's Public Treasury held a new auction of Treasury Bills, achieving a total capture of €2.072 billion. Bills with terms of three and nine months were issued, in line with the usual procedures of the agency under the Ministry of Economy.
According to the report, the yield on three-month bills has reached a maximum level in a year and a half. Meanwhile, nine-month bills also showed significant performance in the auction, although exact figures for their yields were not specified.
Treasury Bills are fixed-income securities that do not generate periodic interest; their yield is determined by the difference between the purchase price and their nominal value at maturity. This calculation method is a distinctive feature of these financial instruments.
