Norwegian Foreign Minister to Visit Pakistan for First Time in a Decade

Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide is set to visit Pakistan on August 13 and 14, marking the first official visit by a Norwegian foreign minister in ten years. The visit is being held at the invitation of Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar.

According to a statement from the Foreign Office, the agenda for the visit includes discussions on expanding bilateral cooperation, particularly in areas such as trade, investment, climate change, and renewable energy.

Eide's visit aligns with ongoing efforts to deepen ties between Norway and Pakistan, and a range of collaborative opportunities are expected to be explored during the two-day engagement.
