Opening of Fangschleuse Station Near Tesla Plant Postponed

The new Fangschleuse station near the Tesla plant in Grünheide was set to open on Saturday but has been abruptly canceled. The railway company Odeg cited extended construction work as the reason for the delay, which meant no trains would operate on the opening day.

Brandenburg's Transport Minister expressed his displeasure over the postponement of the opening. He emphasized that the station was intended to benefit the employees of the Tesla factory, and a timely completion had been expected.

The exact rescheduling of the opening has not yet been announced. The station was an important infrastructure project aimed at improving the plant's connection to the public transport network.
