Opposition Responds to PM Modi's Remarks on 'Dimagi Naxals'
Leaders react after Modi's warning about individuals sympathetic to Maoist ideology.

During a recent address, Prime Minister Modi warned against individuals he referred to as 'dimagi Naxals', indicating that those sympathetic to Maoist ideology continue to seek opportunities to influence the youth negatively. Modi's remarks were made on August 15 during the 80th Independence Day celebrations, where he described these 'dimagi Naxals' as posing a threat to society.
In response, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju stated that Modi did not directly label opposition leaders as 'dimagi Naxals.' Rijiju also claimed that only those who support Maoists or separatist ideologies fall under this designation.
