ORF Foundation Council Appoints New Director Team Led by Clemens Pig
Clemens Pig has been appointed by the ORF Foundation Council with his newly assembled director team.
The ORF Foundation Council appointed the director team led by Clemens Pig during a closed meeting on Tuesday. Pig, who will serve as ORF's Director-General starting in 2027, proposed a total of 13 individuals. In the vote, the core director team, which includes the areas of technology, finance, programming, and audience, received two votes against and two abstentions.
Among the appointed members are five women and eight men, six of whom have been reappointed to their positions. Additionally, seven new members will join the directorate. The majority of the appointed individuals already have experience with ORF, which could be significant for future collaboration.
