Weißmann trial: First proceedings of former ORF director launched
On Tuesday, the first legal proceedings of Roland Weißmann against ORF began at the Vienna Labor and Social Court.
The labor court proceedings of Roland Weißmann, the former Director General of ORF, against his former employer started on Tuesday in Vienna. Weißmann, who filed the case due to his dismissal, is facing what is known as a "motivated termination."
At the initial hearing, organizational aspects were the main focus. New dates for further hearings in October and November were set, during which ORF Director General Ingrid Thurnher is also expected to testify. The proceedings have already attracted significant media attention.
