Over 2.4 Million Adult Singaporeans to Receive Special Cash Payments in September

Starting September 9, over 2.4 million adult Singaporeans will receive a one-off cash payment ranging from S$400 to S$600, as part of efforts to address rising living costs. This initiative, totaling nearly S$1 billion, aims to assist those most significantly impacted by price increases.
Eligible recipients must have an assessable income of up to S$100,000 (approximately US$78,100) and can own no more than one property. The payments are designed to provide financial support amidst current inflationary pressures.
