Payments from the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR) have exceeded 14 billion euros as of Wednesday. This figure represents 63% of the total contracted amount, with an execution rate maintained at 75%.
The funds received have been distributed among companies, public entities, and local authorities, which are at the top of the list of beneficiaries. So far, more than 537,000 applications for the PRR have been received.
The PRR aims to finance projects that enable the country's economic recovery following the pandemic, covering various areas such as energy transition, digitalization, and territorial cohesion. This program is financed by the European Union and is being implemented in Portugal.
