Podemos and Frente Amplio advance in territorial agreements for November 29
Podemos proposes agreements with Izquierda Unida in ten regions, excluding Madrid and Barcelona, complicating unity with Frente Amplio.

Podemos is in talks with Izquierda Unida (IU) to reach electoral agreements in ten autonomous communities, leaving out Madrid and Barcelona. This proposal was announced by Podemos Secretary General Ione Belarra, who aims to strengthen alliances in areas where both political forces are present.
Among the communities mentioned for possible agreements are Galicia, Asturias, Cantabria, Euskadi, Navarra, Castilla y León, Castilla-La Mancha, Murcia, Extremadura, and Andalucía, according to El País.
However, IU has expressed its disagreement with the idea of 'fragmenting' the agreements, supporting a comprehensive unity across all communities. This stance was emphasized by its leader, who stated that negotiations should be approached as a whole, without calculations favoring any of the parties.

The situation becomes complicated in Madrid and Barcelona, where the possibility of competition between Podemos and Frente Amplio has become evident. Gabriel Rufián, spokesperson for ERC, has pointed out the difficulty of reaching an agreement among the left and expressed frustration over the lack of unity, describing the situation as 'a grotesque spectacle.'
Meanwhile, a break has been reported in the Comunidad Valenciana, adding more tension to the negotiations as the legal deadline for presenting coalitions approaches rapidly.
Despite these challenges, Podemos continues to seek allies in other regions, while the lack of consensus in Madrid and Catalonia could jeopardize the negotiations overall.
