During the race, Pogacar faced a brief off-road excursion but quickly regained his position, allowing him to secure the win. This victory marks his third stage win at the current edition of the Vuelta a España and further extends his lead in the overall classification, positioning him favorably as the race progresses.

Mas, who finished second after a strong effort, momentarily overtook Pogacar at the summit of the final climb, intensifying the competition before the sprint to the finish line. Despite his effort, he was unable to maintain his lead against Pogacar’s final push.
